Children are eligible for Nursery education from the term after their third birthday.
Reigate’s Nursery serves both the normal and wider area of the school. We try to ensure that all children receive at least two terms Nursery education prior to joining a Reception class.
The school maintains its own Nursery Waiting List. Interested Parents/Carers are asked to contact the school to enquire about a Nursery place. However, parents are asked to note that placing a child’s name on the waiting list does not necessarily guarantee a place.
At the present time Parents/Carers are able to request the following Nursery placement:
Five morning each week (15 hours total)
Five afternoons each week (15 hours total)
All day Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning (15 hours total)
Wednesday afternoon and all day Thursday, Friday (15 hours total)
When requests for places exceed the number of places available the following selection criteria are used: Nursery Admissions Criteria Dec 2012
Derby City Council manage admission procedures for the school and process all applications for places from Reception to Year 6. Enquiries and applications can be made by contacting the Admissions Team on 01332 642730 or by following the advice given on their webpage.
