Woodpeckers week 4 Summer 2 2026

This week has been a hot one and the children have coped really well. Just a reminder as the weather heats up please to send childrenninto school with sun hats and a water bottle. Also, if bringing suncream inot school, this must be labelled clearly with your child's name please. 

This week we have been thinking about symbols in RE, looking at the stained glass window and linking designs to messages of love, hope and nature. In English, we have started to write our adventure stories set in Egypt. In reading this week, we ahve continued to read our book Secrets of a Sun King. In PSHE, we have been thinking about how we can help someone if they have an asthma attack.
