woodpeckers week 5 Spring 2 2026

Hello everyone

We hope you ejoyed sharing with your children during our showcase this week. The children loved spending time talking to you about their work and showing you some of their BSL. This week, we have been looking at money in PSHE and thinking about how we save and what we save for. In English, we have been continuing to create our adventure stories based around a mountain or river journey. In maths, we have been finding fractions of amounts and thinking about how this relates to our lives. There have been lots of discussions around cutting cakes into slices and eating pizzas. In WCR this week, we started a new text all about teh River and its journey from the source to the sea.
