Woodpeckers week 4 Autumn 1 2026

Another busy week has flown by. The children have been busy writing their reports about the Romans this week. They have also had their first forest shool lesson of the year. They explored the Enchanted Wood area and played 1,2,3, where are you and thought about the rules we need to keep safe in forest school. In PSHE, we thought about respect and how we can be respectful to others. In maths, we have continued to look at and learn about using column methods to add and subtract this week. In RE, we are delving deeper into Hindu customs, this week looking at Moksha. In Spanish, we finished our final lesson about phonics. In PE, our tennis skills were put to the test when we learnt to serve and then volley. Finally, in computing, we used the digital platform 2paint a picture to create winter and Christmas cards.
