Woodpeckers week 3 Summer 2 2026

We have reached the end of yet another busy week. This week teh children have been continuing to think about the content for their adventure stories. We have been reading The Secrets of a Sun King in WCR, which is helping to inspore us and give us ideas too. In PSHE, we have been learning to treat common injuries in first aid. The children created posters thinking about how they could help someone if they were choking or had a burn or scald. In maths, it has been all about time this week. The children have been learning about the months of the months of the year and how to read and write digital time.

As the weather is heating up now could we please remind everyone about using suncream beofre school. Also, as it gets hot outside, a sun hat is advisable for school too please.
