Woodpeckers week 3 Spring 2 2026

Date: 12th Mar 2026 @ 3:41pm

This week we have been considering all things sciency. Our investigation question this week has been "How do bees help flowers?" The children spent Thursday afternoon thinking about this question and went on to create some vibrant bee friendly gardens. In maths this week, we learnt to change and describe direction and spent time thinking about angles in shapes. The children learnt to name the angles, using terms acute, obtuse and right angle. In English, we continued to think about our explanation texts, gathering information about liquids, solids and gases. In swimming this week, teh children continued to learn water skills using floatation aids to help them improve their swimming skills in the pool.

Woodpeckers weekly attendance: 96.7%
