Woodpeckers week 2 Summer 2

Well done to all the Woodpeckers and indeed all of Year 4 this week, as they have worked hard to complete their MTC in school. Thursday was exciting, as Mrs. Woollett ran her reading treasure hunt around school. In maths this week, we have been looking at days, months and years and learning to read time to the minute. In English, we started our adventure story, thinking about being a tomb hunter in Egypt. In topic, we began looking at programmable devices. We conducted a survey around school thinking about the items that we could programme to carry out a task. Ask the children what they found out. In Spanish and BSL, we have continued to learn about the weather. In Whole Class Reading, we  ahve been learning about Thomas Edison. Why no quiz your child about him? Just a reminder that next Wednesday 18th June is Sports Day in the morning. Children will need to wear PE for this.
