Woodpeckers week 2 Summer 2 2026

This week we started thinking about teh content for our adventure narratives in English. The children ave learnt to write using prepositional phrases and have worked at creating tension and suspense in their writing too. In maths, they we lloked at money and looked at solving take away and addition problems using money. We also converted from pennies to pounds. In RE we thoguht about special milestones in our lives. The children came up with things that have been important to them like, first steps, starting school, their first birthday. In PSHE we looked at our pledges and tried to think about how we could achieve all 10 by the end of June.
