Woodpeckers week 2 Autumn 2
Date: 13th Nov 2025 @ 1:13pm
This week we have continued working hard to remember our multiplication facts. Our daily soundchecks are really helping up to improve our knowledge. This week our best score for children getting 25/25 has been 10/30. We are very proud of this. We have been scientists this week learning about sound. We learnt how sounds travels and explored sound waves. We learnt that if the peak of the sound wave is shallow the pitch of the sound is low. We also learnt that the close the sound waves teh louder teh sound. We went on to investigate whether moving further away from a sound source changes the volume of the sound. We would loe to tell you all about the investigation. In Englsih, we have been busy learning how to write parts of a news report about Lindisfarne. We learnt to write using reported speech in our lessons. In RE, we thought about festivals and wrote about our favourite festival.
Just a pre-warning that our class assembly will be taking place on Wednesday 3rd December at 9.00am. You are all invited to join us.
Woodpecker weekly attendance: 94.7%
