Woodpeckers Summer 2 Week 3

Another week has flown past and we have been active this week. Wedensday was a super celebration of all things sporty as all of our pupils took part in Sports Day. Many of you were here to help us celebrate too. Well done to everyone who took part and to our sporty/competitive parents/carers who got up and raced at the end. We have continued our hard work learning to swim this week. Some of our swimmers are now working on their stamina, swimming lengths during the lesson. In maths, we have been looking at money again this week. The children seem to be grasping the concept of money much better now. In art this week, we turned our hand to human form drawings , have a look at some of the drawing the children produced. Thursday afternoon was designated a science afternoon. In year 4 , we explored properties of materials, thinking specifically about dissolving and solutions.
