Week 5 Woodpeckers summer 2 2026

What a wonderful week we have had. We have been busy with tests this week but have managed to squeeze in some other learniong too. In swimming, the children had a free session to help grow their confidence. It was great to see them confidently playing and swimming in the pool. In PSHE, we have learnt more about ashtma and how to help people who might be having an attack. In English, we have been busy publishing our writing. AND we finished teh week with an amazing bedtime stories session, where we invited our carers to come and share a book with us. We also had a visit from Mr. Hughes and we celebrated our achievements in a Pledge celebration. We were very proud to have 14 pupils from the Woodpeckers recieve their pledge badges.

A reminder that we will be visiting St. Francius Church on Friday. The trip is for the morning and all pupils need to take a packed lunch on that day please, as we will be coming back to school after lunchtime. If you can walk down with us, please let Mrs. Sanchez know.
