What a brilliant week we’ve had in Year 1. Our classroom has been buzzing with excitement as we dived into Art Week, all inspired by our Take One Picture Muse project from the National Gallery. The children have spent the week designing, shaping and creating their own sea creatures (picked out from the picture), exploring colour, shape and all the imaginative ideas they could think of. We even ventured into making jellyfish and seaweed collages as we thought about other ocean life.

The Year One team are so proud of every single child. Their enthusiasm, teamwork and creativity have shone through in everything they’ve made. Well done Year 1, you’ve made us smile all week!
