In Maths, we’ve been getting hands-on with 3D shapes, 2D shapes and repeating patterns. The children have loved exploring the properties of different shapes, using words like vertices and edges like true mathematicians! We've been building, sorting, and spotting patterns all around is!

In English, our curiosity has taken us deeper into the animal kingdom. We've continued researching fascinating facts about all sorts of creatures, and the class has especially enjoyed sharing what they’ve discovered with their friends. One favourite fact that had everyone talking: “Did you know a frog can breathe through its skin?”.  It’s been wonderful to see the children so engaged and enthusiastic about learning and sharing new information.

As we count down the final few days of Year 1, I just want to say how much I’ve truly enjoyed working with you and your wonderful children this year. It’s been a pleasure to watch the T-Rexes grow, learn and support each other.
