English
In English, we’ve been planning our very own Supertato stories! The children have had great fun inventing new fruit and vegetable characters like Angry Cupcake, Livid Milk, Embarrassed Carrot and Bitter Watermelon. Evil Pea has been up to no good, causing lots of problems for our heroes! We’ve also been working on writing our own question sentences, such as “Who will save me?” and “Who has pinched my icing?”  The children came up with some fantastic ideas!

Maths
In Maths, we’ve been solving missing number problems using our part-part-whole models. We’ve also been learning how to draw arrays to help us understand and solve multiplication problems. The children have done brilliantly with these strategies!

Topic
In our Topic work, we’ve been learning all about different animal groups like mammals, amphibians, birds, and more. We explored what makes each group special, for example, mammals have hair or fur, and amphibians have moist skin. We even used a Carroll diagram to sort different animals by their features. The children showed great curiosity and understanding!

Sports Day
A big well done to all the children for their amazing effort during Sports Day! You made us so proud with your enthusiasm, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
