Talented T-Rex Summer 2 Week 2

What a fantastic week we’ve had in T-Rex Class! The children have been working hard, learning lots and most importantly, having fun along the way.

English
This week in English, we’ve been busy writing our own exciting beginnings and endings for the story Supertato! We used adventurous vocabulary, as well as question marks and exclamation marks to add extra drama and excitement to our writing. A huge well done to Freddie, who really impressed me with his fluency and careful recording – brilliant work!

Maths
In Maths, we’ve been learning all about fact families and the inverse operations. We also explored one more and one less and practised our number bonds. The children did a great job using what they know to solve problems in lots of different ways.

Topic
Our Topic this week was deliciously fun – we designed and made our own sandwiches! Everyone thought carefully about their ingredients and created some amazing (and very tasty) sandwiches. I kept hearing, “This is the best sandwich I’ve ever made!” – and they really were!
