Maths

In Maths, we’ve been working hard on using number lines, partitioning numbers into tens and ones, and comparing numbers. The children used dienes and multiple ten frames to show their understanding, and it’s been fantastic to see how confident the T-rex class are with these concepts.

English

In English, we’ve been exploring questions. We’ve looked closely at question words and how to use them in sentences linked to our focus text Supertato. The children have really impressed us with their thinking. A special well done to Brody this week who shared some really thoughtful ideas and confidently used his own sentences. Great job Brody!

Topic

In Topic, we’ve started our exciting DT mini project all about where our food comes from and food preparation. We’ve been learning about chopping, slicing, grating and peeling. The children will soon get the chance to put their skills to the test by making their own tasty fruit salad. Yum yum 😋🍓🍍🍎🍉🍌🥝.
