Maths

This week in Maths T-Rex class have been practising finding the missing number on a number line. They have also been working hard on counting tens and ones, using this to help them understand how numbers are built and how to spot patterns.

English

In English we have been reading the brilliant story Supertato. The children have enjoyed thinking about what happens to each vegetable when the mischievous Evil Pea is around. They have come up with imaginative sentences to describe the chaos he causes.  Well done to Orlagh who wrote 'The orange carrot was nibbled'.

Topic

In topic we have started our new unit: Chop, Slice, Mash. The children loved making their very own fruit salad and explored how different fruits can be prepared in different ways.  Yum Yum! 😋
