This week in Maths, we have been working on adding 1‑digit and 2‑digit numbers, writing numerals as words, and solving a range of addition and subtraction problems. A special well done to Orlagh for showing fantastic strategy use, especially counting on with a number line and even using a ruler to help.

In English, the children have been practising how to write clear instructions for planting a seed, making sure to include a time word and a bossy verb in each step.

In our Topic learning, we explored the life cycle of a dandelion and how it spreads its seeds to grow new flowers. We also enjoyed doing tree rubbings and labelling the different parts.
