Maths:
This week in Maths, we have been working on matching numbers to their written words and completing missing number sequences. The children have done a fantastic job using these activities to show their understanding of number amounts and sequencing.

English:
In English, we have been reading a lovely story about Wilfred George Mcdonald Partridge and his friend who lives in an old retirement home next door. Through their time together, we’ve explored memories from the 1950s. The children have been busy recording interesting facts in full sentences, getting ready to write a thoughtful letter to Miss Nancy at the home.

Topic:
Our Topic lessons have taken us on a journey around the world as we explored the seven continents and five oceans. The children enjoyed learning about the different places and naming them on a map. A special well done to Jessica, who was able to name most of the continents, great work!

It’s been another exciting and productive week in T-Rex Class!  Well done
