Our Year Ones have been busy bringing The Three Little Pigs to life! 🐷🐷🐷 We’ve been orally rehearsing the story, labelling the different materials used to build the pigs’ houses and recording some of the story’s repeated sentences. We’ve loved practising our storytelling voices and joining in with those familiar phrases!

Maths

This week in Maths, we’ve been practising counting forwards and backwards to 20. We used number lines, flashcards and catchy counting songs to help us become confident counting superstars.

Topic

In Topic we’ve been putting on our scientist hats and exploring the materials and their properties all around us! T-Rex have been looking closely at the world around us and discovering what different objects are made from and what their materials are like.
