Summer 2 Week 6

This week in Maths, have been learning about geometric shapes. The have compared and classified them. They have also recapped what they have learnt about angles.  

This week, we started our min-topic on Islamic Art. We learnt about what it is and how it is made. As part of this we had an art morning in the studio to design them a new stained-glass window using Islamic Art as inspiration. 

In PE we did some team building games in on the field. We also had multi-sports with DCFC and cricket with the sports coach. 

The children were excited to meet and spend time with their new teacher on Wednesday.

Due to our children supposed to be going on a trip we had no star reader or star writer this week.
