Summer 2 Week 6

This week in Maths, have been learning about geometric shapes. The have compared and classified them. They have also recapped what they have learnt about angles. On Friday we did an arithmetic lesson.

In English, we have been learning how to edit and redraft work. We have been focusing on punctuation and grammar this week.

This week, we started out min-topic on Islamic Art. We learnt about what it is and how it is made, we also designed our own motifs using 5 circles. As part of this we went on a trip to St Francis Church to design them a new stained glass window using Islamic Art as inspiration.

In PE we used our communication and problem solving skills to complete team challenges.
