Summer 2 Week 6
English- This week the children have been learning all about instructional texts. They have learnt what the purpose of these texts are and why they are important. They have explored a range of different instructions including recipes, directions and how to look after someone/thing. They have looked at the different features of instructions such as imperative verbs, adverbs and diagrams/pictures to support.
Maths- This week the children had a look through the test papers that they completed last week and identified questions that they struggled on. They then worked together in pairs to discuss strategies and methods to work out those answers.
Forest school- This week the children explored different types of bugs.
Transition- The children had a lovely morning on Wednesday spending time in their new classrooms with their new teachers.
