BSL this week…
In Year 3, the children have been revising:
- Numbers
- Months of the year
- Days of the week
They have also been developing their BSL handshapes and making sure they sign them correctly, focusing on forming signs accurately and confidently.
In Year 4, the children have been practising basic conversations in British Sign Language, including:
- Greetings
- Introducing their name
- Stating their age
- Saying where they live
- Asking various questions.
They are beginning to build short conversational exchanges using these elements.
