Summer 2 Week 3

This week in Bees Class, we have been very busy with lots of exciting learning across different subjects! 

In Maths, we have been learning all about time. We have focused on understanding minutes past and minutes to the hour, helping us to read the clock more confidently. We have also been practising how to convert between analogue and digital times, which has been a great challenge and lots of fun! 

In English, we have continued developing our adventure narratives. This week, we worked hard on building our stories by creating an interesting setting, an exciting build-up, and a strong ending. Everyone has shown fantastic creativity and imagination in their writing. 

In Topic, we explored programmable devices. We went on a walk around the school to see how many we could find in everyday life. It was amazing to discover how many devices use programming to help us! 

In PHSE, we have been learning about common injuries, including bleeding, broken bones, and burns. We discussed how these injuries can happen and what we can do to help. To finish, we created informative posters explaining how to treat each of these injuries.
