Summer 2 Week 1

In Maths this week, the children have been practising for their MTC check. At the end of the week we have been learning about money and how to write it as a decimal. They have also been adding two amounts of money together. 

 
In English this week, the children have been learning about the features that needed to be included in an acrostic poem. They have researched ancient Egypt and then used these two things top wrote their poems. 

In Topic we have started our mini-project on Electricity and circuited. The children learnt what is needed to make a circuit. They then got to build their own circuits and test conductivity of materials. 

In Computing we have been learning how to make a stop option animation using Purple Mash. 

This week we won the weekly attendance award and the children now get a free playtime and parachute games.
