Summer 1 Week 6

In Maths lessons this week, Bees Class have been looking at perimeter and area. At the start of the week, we looked at how to calculate perimeter by first finding the lengths of any missing sides and then adding the measurements together. Later in the week, we looked at how to calculate area by counting squares.

In English this week, we have continued to work on our Tutankhamun biographies. We have published our work.

This week in Topic we have done an archaeological dig looking for Egyptian artefacts. We really enjoyed digging in the rocks and stones to find different objects. We then wrote about them in our books.

In PE, we have been working on our foreheads in tennis and our throwing in athletics.
