Summer 1 Week 5

In Maths this week, the children have been learning to calculate perimeters by counting squares and converting measures. We have also made shapes with a given areas as well as worked out the area of shapes. We have also been practising for our MTC check using our official log-ins. 

 
In English this week, we have been learning what to write in our biographies. We have done some work on past and present perfect tense and how to use complex and compound sentences. 

In Topic we have been learning about ancient civilizations. This week we have looked at the daily life in Egyptian civilisation and what made the Indus Valley important.
