Summer 1 Week 4

Date: 8th May 2026 @ 9:54am

In Maths this week, the children have been multiplying by 10 and 100, added and subtracted fractions and dividing by 10 and 100. On Friday we did our times tables lesson and did our Soundchecks.

In English this week, we have learnt that we will be writing a biography to inform the visitors of the Tutankhamun Exhibition. We have been learning what features are needed in a biography and about the difference between facts and opinions.

In WCR we have started reading the Secrets of a Sun King by Emma Carroll. We have made predictions about the book and used our retrieval skills to answer questions.

In PE, this week we had the sports coach who did athletics with us. We had a go at long distance running and how we need to adapt our techniques compared to short distance running.
