Summer 1 Week 2
Date: 2nd May 2025 @ 3:50pm
In Maths this week, have continued to work on areas we found difficult in our assessment. We recapped our inverse calculations and how this is useful to check answers. We practiced estimating and rounding numbers on a number line. On Friday we did our times tables lesson and did our soundchecks.
In English this week, we learnt about what features make a good narrative poem. We spent a lesson thinking about how we could use our sense to describe. At the end of the week, we published our poems.
We continued doing Athletics in PE and this week we practise throwing a shot putt and relay races.
On Thursday we took part in International Workers Day. We had two people come and talk to us about their jobs. It was great to hear what you needed to do as a GP and a Gastroenterologist.
Reminder: Busy Bees Class Assembly is Wednesday 7th May 9am!
