Summer 1 Week 1

Welcome back to the summer term!

On monday, we had a very exciting day. We all dressed up as kings and queens for our monarch day. We did lots of fun different activities all about kings and queens. Our favourite was having a banquet of fresh fruit and delicious biscuits. After the banquet, we enjoyed some royal dancing.  Irene's favourite memory of the day is making a shiny, sparkly crown! 

In our reading lessons this week, we have been reading Queen Victoria's diary. We found out lots of interesting information about her wedding day. 

In maths, we have been solving lots of missing number problems. We worked hard to use the inverse opperation to complete number sentences. Elsie worked really hard using tens and ones for addition, well done!
