Starfish Summer 1, Week 4

In Maths, we explored measurement. We have learnt how to use a ruler and metre stick to measure a wide range of different objects. 

In English, we continued to focus on the Paddington at the Palace story. We have learnt how to use adjectives, verbs and contractions. Well done Starfish for all your hard work on contractions. 

In our Topic work, we have continued to learn about Kings and Queens from the past, focusing on Queen Victoria and Elizabeth II. Did you know, Queen Victoria started the tradition of decorating a Christmas tree, a white wedding dress and afternoon tea!
