Starfish Summer 1, Week 2

This week in Maths, we have been revisiting multiplication and divison. We have been using groups to find our answers. At the end of the week we started to answer worded proplems about multiplication and division. Henry and Elsie worked really hard with their learning.

In English, we have continued to work on learning the features included in a recount. We have used verbs, past tense and time adverbials. Louie wrote a wonderful sentence, 'on Monarch day I wore a pretty, sparkly crown'.

In Topic, we have been learning how to order Monarchs depending how long they have reigned for. We also learnt about King Alfred. We read a story about him and as a table wrote notes on what we have learnt.
