Spring 2 Week 4

Maths 
In Maths lessons this week, Bees Class have worked really hard to answer arithmetic and reasoning questions on everything they have learned so far. They have also been practicing the long method of multiplication, beginning to times a single digit number by a three digit number. 

English 
In English this week, Bees Class have been working hard at answering reading questions to test their inference and retrieval skills. Bees Class have also learned about Cinquain and Kenning poems. Here is the Cinquain poem we wrote as a class: 

Thunderstorm. 

Gloomy, dramatic, 

Raining, frightening, lightning,  

Thor is above us, 

Striking.

Other Subjects 
This week in Topic we have started our project ‘functional and fancy fabrics’. We have learned about William Morris and used his designs to make our own designs with a repeating motif. On Thursday, Bees Class used the method of block printing to paint a piece of fabric with their design. 

A huge well done to everyone in Bees Class this week for your amazing performance in our Class Assembly! We are very proud of you!! 😊
