Spring 2 - Week 4

Hello everyone,

This week we had our cinema trip to see Bad Guys 2. The children were incredibly polite and sensible and really made the staff on the trip feel proud.

In Reading and Maths this week, we completed our Spring 2 assessments for Maths and Reading. The children have worked hard with these, and it has been amazing to see how much progress they have made, since starting Year 3 in September.

In art, we used pages on our iPads to create some urban landscapes of Mackworth or Derby. The children could choose which landscape they wanted to create.

In English, we continued to write our stories based on Escape from Pompeii. The children have worked hard on including the Year 3 features in their writing.

BSL was exciting, as we learnt to sign the days of the week. We also asked each other about our favourite hobbies.

In PSHE this week, we thought about keeping data safe online. We designed and completed posters to help us know how to keep data safe.

Please remember to charge iPads at home, ready for the next day at school, read at home and complete your homework!
