English- this week we have worked really hard at completing our version of “Escape from Pompeii” stories. We adapted characters, settings and endings to create our own exciting stories.We used exciting vocabulary to describe the characters and settings to make our stories more interesting to read.
Maths- we have re-visited multiplication and division of 2 digit numbers by 1 digit numbers this week. We have practised using the long multiplication method and the bus stop method for division.
PSHE- This week we have looked at dangers online and the actions we need to take to stay safe when online. We looked at different scenarios and discussed what we think we should do if faced with something similar. We then thought about what we need to do to prevent dangers when online.
Reminders-
- Please ensure all reading is recorded in your child’s reading diary. They should have at least 3 reads recorded in their dairy. Home learning must be completed by Friday. Please support your child in practising their spellings ready for their Friday test.
- Please return consent forms for our cinema trip as soon as possible.
