This week in Maths, we have revised counting in 2s and learnt how to count in 5s. We practised chanting up in 2s and 5s. Then, we applied this skill to count different amounts. Sidney and Indie did a super job counting in 2s and 5s.

In Topic, we have started our ‘Bright Lights, Big City’ topic. We learnt what a landmark is and explored some of Derby’s landmarks, such as Pride Park Stadium. We found out when it was built, who built it and what it is used for.

Well done to everyone who made or drew a London landmark over the holidays. You really impressed me with your creativity!
