Sharks Summer 1 Week 4

In maths this week, we have been learning about length and mass. We learnt how to measure objects accurately using a ruler and metre stick. Towards the end of the week, we compared mass and justified how we knew our answers were correct. 

In English, we enjoyed starting a new unit of work based upon the story of 'Paddington at the Palace'. We created a story map and used this to help us retell and roleplay the story in sequence with our friends.

In topic, we learnt about our past Queens. We looked at the different postivie and negative impacts they had on our country. We also started work on using the knowledge we have learnt from our Magnificent Monarchs topic to produce a board game. We will continue this work next week.
