Perfect Penguins- Summer 2 Week 3

This week, we have continued our learning all about Newspaper reports. We learned all about reported speech and direct speech and learned about the difference between these types of speech. Later on in the week, we learned about relative clauses and wrote our own sentences based on the twelve tasks of Heracles, using relative pronouns.

Maths
In Maths this week, we have been learning about mental methods of addition and subtraction. We have recapped the methods we already knew, and they practiced these on our whiteboards. After that, we testing our knowledge with reasoning questions.

Other Subjects
This week, Penguins Class have had their final few rehearsals for the Shakespeare performance next Tuesday, we are all very very excited to show our performance at Derby Theatre! Also a huge well done to everyone for an amazing Sports Day last Wednesday! You all tried incredibly hard, go team Penguins!
