Perfect Penguins- Summer 1 Week 5

This week, we continued our learning about Myths. At the start of the week we looked at speech punctuation and how to use this in our writing. At the end of the week, we began drawing our characters and villains, as well as starting to plan out our Myths.

Maths
This week in Maths we have been looking at powers of 10 and using the column method to help us to count on or back in powers of 10. Later in the week, we looked at roman numerals and the rules on how to read them. On Friday we practiced a range of fluency questions.

Other Subjects
In other subjects, we have been working hard with our ideas for our Shakespeare scripts and are looking forward to the next steps with this project! We have also been working hard in our athletics lessons to get ready for Sports Day!

We also say goodbye to Miss Wilmot this week, Penguins Class have really enjoyed having Miss Wilmot teach us and we wish her lots of luck with her teaching career!
