Perfect Penguins- Summer 1 Week 2

This week, we have been working hard to learn all about the main characters from Hamlet: Hamlet, Ophelia, Queen Gertrude and King Caludius. After learning more of the features we would need, we wrote detailed descriptions of their characters and later published these by typing them up on our iPads.

Maths
This week in Maths, we have been recapping our rounding rules. We revised that if the number ends in a 0-4 we round down and if it ends in a 5-9, we round up. Later in the week, we looked at negative numbers and noticed the further left you go on the number line, the smaller the number gets.

Other Subjects
At the start of the week, we finished our Shakespeare drama sessions, where we have been learning al about the play Hamlet, through various drama techniques. Penguins class have worked really hard to learn the story and have been so brave to perform in front of their friends.

Star of the week- Louie! For an incredible effort in our Shakespeare sessions, as well as a super performance at the celebration of dance!
