Perfect Penguins- Spring 1 Week 3

English
This week in English we have continue looking at the book ‘Farm Boy’. At the start of the week, we starting to plan and write up our Diary entries. After editing, we will be writing these up at the end of the week.

Maths
In Maths this week, we have been looking Multiplication and Division. On Monday and Tuesday, we looked at long multiplication, which was tricky at first, to help us to multiply up to 3 digit numbers by a 2 digit number. Later on in the week, we looked at short multiplication and finally short division.

Other Subjects
This week in Topic, Penguins class have been learning all about farming in the UK. We learned about the different types of farm that can be found in the UK- including arable farms, pastoral farms and mixed farming. Later in the week, we looked at the positive and negative impacts of modern farming.
