Perfect Penguins- Spring 1 Week 2

English
This week in English we have continue looking at the book ‘Farm Boy’. After learning about semi-colons and the passive voice, we planned our Diary Entries, ready for writing up next week. Penguins class are really enjoying reading the book and are looking forward to finishing it.

Maths
In Maths this week, we have been looking at addition and subtraction. Penguins class have been using column addition and column subtraction to add and take away up to 4 digit numbers. At the end of the week, we looked at solving word problems using addition and subtraction.

Other Subjects
This week in Topic, Penguins class have been learning all about Plants. We looked in detail at the different reproductive structures of plants and created posters to show this information.
