Perfect Penguins- Autumn 2 Week 7

This week in English we have been finishing writing up our setting descriptions. On Wednesday, we published these onto publishing paper, using our best handwriting.

Maths

In Maths this week, we have started looking at tables and data. First, we looked at how to answer questions about tables and then we looked at answering questions about two-way tables. It was Penguins’ first time looking at this, but they did really well.

Other Subjects
This week in Topic, Penguins have started the mini project ‘Moving Mechanisms’ where they looked at what ‘pneumatic’ means and then made their own pneumatic device. They made a box that they could made ‘talk’ by blowing a ballon up and letting the air out.

We have had a wonderful week with lots going on! Penguins enjoyed the Christmas dinner and jumper day on Thursday.
