Perfect Penguins- Autumn 2 Week 6

This week in English we have been working on writing up our setting descriptions, all about the moon. Penguins Class had some really interesting ideas. Next week, we are looking forward to publishing these.

Maths

In Maths this week, we have started looking at shapes. First, we were looking at the angles and edges in 2D shapes and then explored the properties of regular and irregular polygons. At the end of the week, we began looking at 3D shapes, working on counting the edges, faces and vertices.

Other Subjects
This week in Topic, Penguins have started the mini project ‘Investigating Our World’. We have discussed the climates around our world and learned about different Biomes.

We have also had a lot of extra activities this week, as we near the holidays. Penguins found the Panto really funny, their favourite bit was when “6, 7” was mentioned!
