Perfect Penguins- Autumn 1 Week 6

Maths
In Maths lessons this week we have been using our knowledge of angles to find acute and obtuse angles, as well as right angles. we had our first lesson on measuring angles, using a protractor and the correct scale to identify the angle. Later in the week, we began using the protractor to help us to draw our own angles.

English
In English this week, we have been working on writing our own version of the ‘Willow pattern Story’. On Monday, we mapped out what would happen in the story, and then we began to start writing about our character and the setting. Later in the week, we wrote the build up and problem sections of our story.  

Other Subjects
This week in Topic, we have moved on from the Shang Dynasty and started learning about the Zhou Dynasty. We have also been using all our topic knowledge from the term to help us write our class assembly script.
