Meerkats Summer 1 w3

This week the children have worked really hard revising for their SATs next week, in their Maths, Reading and Grammar.

The Meerkats have also started to write a narrative based on the book Rose Blanche.  Their writing tells the story of Rose Blanche but the children have chosen an alternative ending.

On Thursday we had VE Day celebrations, the children came to school dressed in red, white and blue.  The children have been immersed in learning about the end of WW2, they have designed commemorative plates for the 80th anniversary and other taken part in other activities.
