Meerkats Summer 1 w1

First week back after Easter and it has been very busy for the Meerkats class.

In Maths we have been re-visiting different topics which the children have requested for SATs practise. In English we have started to think about writing a narrative based on the book Rose Blanche.

As well as all of this we had our Year 6 trip to the Manchester War Museum - this has started our new topic "Britain at War" perfectly.  The children enjoyed looking at lots of artefacts from different wars, as well as experiencing lots of interactive sources provided.  Please see some of the photos attached.
