Marvellous Meerkats Summer 1 Week 1

It’s been a busy and exciting week of learning in the Meerkats' classroom. 

In English, the children have been exploring internal monologues inspired by the powerful text Rose Blanche. They have been stepping into the thoughts and feelings of characters, using descriptive language to show emotion and perspective.

In Maths, we have been revising key skills in preparation for the upcoming SATs. The children have shown great focus as they revisit methods for calculation, problem‑solving, and reasoning.

In Topic, we began our new unit on the start of World War II. The class discussed what life was like at the time and started to build an understanding of the events that led to the outbreak of the war.

Well done to all the children for their enthusiasm and hard work throughout the week.
