Marvellous Meerkats' Spring 2 Week 4

This week has been an important and creative one for our Year 6 children!

Assessment Week:
The children have shown fantastic determination as they completed their mock SATs tests. They worked incredibly hard, stayed focused, and demonstrated a positive attitude throughout. We are very proud of the resilience and effort they put into each assessment.

Topic Work:
In our topic lessons, Year 6 have been exploring Inuit art. Inspired by the work of renowned Inuit artist Jesse Oonark, the children began recreating their own pieces using her bold shapes, patterns, and storytelling style. Their artwork is already looking vibrant and full of character!

It’s been a busy week, and the children should be very proud of what they’ve achieved. Well done, Year 6!
